Zoe Mitchell is an American writer and producer. She wrote, produced, and directed her debut dramatic short film, BERNADETTE (2020), which received awards from organizations including MINT Film Festival.
Her feature length film, GRASSLAND (2024), is now streaming on Apple TV+, Amazon Prime, Tubi, Roku, and more. Her productions have won and been recognized by organizations such as Austin Film Festival, Santa Fe Film Festival, Manhattan Film Festival, Cinémathèque Française, WeScreenplay, and Indie Short Fest.
Her non-fiction work has been published by PBS, WYPR, Music Business Journal, Allston Pudding, and Make It Happen Magazine. She produces a monthly newsletter on fiction and non-fiction storytelling.
Mitchell was born in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated in 2016 from Berklee College of Music and was a masters in screenwriting candidate at ElCAR Film and Television school in Paris, France in 2018. She currently resides in London, UK where she continues to hone her craft and watch endless British TV.
